‘L2: Empuraan’ – The Sequel to ‘Lucifer’ Hits Theatres on March 27, 2025

Director Prithviraj Sukumaran officially announces the release of L2: Empuraan, the much-awaited sequel to Lucifer. Starring Mohanlal, the film continues the gripping political-thriller saga and will release in five languages, including Tamil, with extensive dubbing efforts.

Produced by Aashirvad Cinemas, Sree Gokulam Movies, and Lyca Productions, the film features Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Indrajith Sukumaran, and others. Shot across multiple international locations, Empuraan is also the first Malayalam film to release in IMAX format.
